NOLA RUSH

Since 2019, we’ve been finding and featuring some of the best athletes from the greater New Orleans area. From coaching them on the ins-and-outs of the sport to honing their athletic skills, we’re proud to teach not only the love of the sport, but to also impart the ideals of good sportsmanship, teamwork and loyalty. That's what sets up apart: our commitment to the whole athlete. We want our athletes to excel in every area of their life, not just on the field.

WHAT WE DO

Track & Field

Indoor Track: November-Feb.

Outdoor Track: April-August

We are an all-inclusive team of males and females ranging in ages from 5-18+ years old. Our track athletes include sprinters, medium and long distance runners, hurdlers, and racewalkers. We have a strong group of field athletes who compete in shot put, discus, javelin, turbo javelin, long jump, and high jump.

Country

Cross-Country:

September-December

Our cross-country team, known as the "Long Distance Lunatics" compete alongside our track team during the outdoor season. Starting in September, the Lunatics participate in outdoor cross-country meets where they run long distances through fields and forests.

Basketball

Basketball: March-August

We are proud to say that we have expanded our Club to include NOLA Rush Basketball. The team includes some of our track athletes and is coached by one of our founding coaches, Coach K. We're excited to see what this team will achieve.

CLUB

Finding an inexpensive track club to join proved difficult, so we started our own. We are a "pay as you go" club with minimal yearly dues. Our goal is to give athletes, who would otherwise not have the opportunity, a chance to showcase their talents. We will never turn away a child who wants to be a part of our team simply due to costs and fees. Check out our Costs & Fees page to learn more...

We hold annual fundraising events to raise money for the team. We also seek out sponsors and ask for donations. Every penny received goes towards turning dreams into reality.

OUR LOCATION

NOLA Rush originated in Gretna, but is now located in Marrero, Louisiana. We have purchased a commercial building that will be the new headquarters for the entire NOLA Rush Foundation.

Just a mile off of the interstate, it will be easy access for all areas of the West Bank and New Orleans.
