Athlete Spotlight

Harrison

Harrison is in the spotlight for his efforts both in the off-season and the Indoor season. moving up to the 7yr old age group this year, he now has to compete against 8 yr olds for most meets, including championships. Harrison ended the 2024 indoor season as a 3x All-American in the 60m (3rd), 200m (3rd) and 400m dash (5th), with his most impressive being the 400m- an event he had never ran before. To top it off, he set new personal bests in every event! We are so proud of him and we can't wait to see what he does next!

Coach Joe is now in his 8th year of coaching youth track and field. He began head coaching youth sports in 2017

Coach Matt has been coaching for 7 years since becoming a founding member of NOLA Rush. He has also coached soccer and hockey.

Sarah Gillenwater

Ms. Sarah is affectionately known as the team mom. She focuses on the mental and emotional well-being of the athletes. She also handles the day-to-day business of the team.
